This strawberry lemonade fizz is bright, bubbly, and easy to make on a warm summer day. I paired mine with simple frozen strawberry yogurt dog treats for Poppy—one for me and one for her!
Strawberry Lemonade Fizz

Ingredients
- 3 fresh strawberries, hulled
- 3 ounces lemonade
- 2 ounces sparkling water
- Ice
- 1 fanned strawberry and a small lemon twist for garnish, optional
Instructions
- Add the strawberries to a cocktail shaker and muddle until juicy.
- Add ice and the lemonade.
- Stir or shake until chilled.
- Strain into a champagne flute.
- Top with sparkling water and garnish, if desired.
Cocktail Option
For a cocktail version, add 1½ ounces of vodka or gin before adding the ice. Follow the remaining directions and use slightly less sparkling water.
Frozen Strawberry Yogurt Dog Treats

Ingredients
- ½ cup fresh strawberries, hulled
- ¼ cup plain, unsweetened Greek Yogurt
Instructions
- Add the strawberries and Greek Yogurt to a blender.
- Blend until completely smooth.
- Spoon or pour the mixture into silicone bone or paw molds.
- Freeze until completely firm, about 3 to 4 hours.
- Remove the treats from the molds and store them in a freezer-safe container.
Serve in a portion appropriate for your dog.

Dog-Safety Note
Use seedless watermelon and remove every bit of rind before blending. Peel the cucumber. Introduce new ingredients in a small amount and ask your veterinarian about individual dietary concerns. Treats should be offered occasionally and are not a complete meal.
