I’m Christen—a wife, mom, and serial home-project starter who believes changing your mind can lead to something even better.

I created Poppy & Christen to share easy recipes, approachable home updates, seasonal styling, and everyday finds I genuinely use and love. My style is always evolving, but I’m drawn to spaces that feel warm, collected, and comfortable.

Meet Poppy

Poppy is a mini Australian shepherd born October 8, 2025 — and she has been running the show ever since.

She is Christen’s constant sidekick, official taste tester for everything that comes out of the kitchen, and a very important assistant to her dad at work. If something is being made, photographed, or eaten, Poppy is involved.

Every treat recipe on this site has been Poppy-approved. She takes her job very seriously.
